Adolf Winkler was head of business department of Austria's second largest distributed daily newspaper, the Kleine Zeitung, as well as deputy editor-in-chief of the market-leading Kleine Zeitung Kärnten and Osttirol for over 15 years. In addition to his degree in English and History at the Federal Pedagogical Academy in Carinthia (Viktor Frankl College), his education also includes periods of study at the University of Vienna (law, journalism, political science) and at the Alpen Adria University Klagenfurt (business administration). He also completed Herrnstein/Styria curricula in management and project management. He is an experienced moderator of numerous conferences, economic and political discussions, with a strong focus on innovation, technology, digitalization and sustainability. He uses his extensive network for business contacts, especially in the Alps-Adriatic region. His international horizons are broadened by visits to top research institutions as Nanjang University Singapore, MIT Boston, Stanford University, etc.
